16' Lift Medium Reservoir Pump w/ 3/8" Check Valve, Safety Switch (115V)

Purchase the condensation pump to go along with my furnace to evacuate condensation from the furnace. The first pump only lasted 3 years. I perform regular cleaning of the tray and the pump itself along with the pecks lines only to find out that the bottom of the pump split from end to end for no reason. The pump would try to evacuate, but it was very efficient. I purchased another one just like the first one but have not installed it yet. I am fearful of it doing the same thing. A lot easier to let the water run into a big tray. I contacted the company by email and explain what happened and the technician said that it is damaged so I wrote back and I said I know it's damaged. I wanna know if you know what caused it. The reply was that the manager of that portion of the company said the same thing it's damaged. These guys are unwilling to tell me what caused this other than the water there's no reason for this thing to split right down the middle. They wouldn't take responsibility. They wouldn't tell me that they knew about it. They just said yeah it's damaged and I shud go after the merchant you bought it from and try and get warranty on it. The warranty on these pumps are for only one year I would not recommend this pump as a condensation evacuation system.

This new pump works great (so far). It is very quiet. Have not had it up and running very long but it looks like it will be a lot easier to clean then the last one. Hoping the plastic can handle the acidic water.
