McDonnell & Miller boilerwize Universal Field Configurable Low Water Cut Off (LWCO) For Steam or Hot Water Boilers
Overview:
boilerwize is a field configurable low water cut-off (LWCO) that can be used as 24V, 120V, auto or manual for steam and hot water
boilers. The boilerwize's probe type LWCO uses patented technology to provide protection against low water conditions, and it can
be used as a primary or secondary device for residential, commercial and industrial applications.
How it works: The FPC-1000 (boilerwize) probe type LWCO uses patented technology to monitor changes in water conductivity. When defined
parameters are exceeded, the FPC-1000 (boilerwize) makes a decision to turn off the burner based on the volatility/variability of the
resistance readings. This patented technology provides the best protection possible without turning off the burner unless low water
condition exists. As an added measure of safety, the control will turn off the burner if it recognizes an out-of-water condition when the
sensitivity threshold is exceeded.
Features & Benefits:
sure it's operating properly without draining boiler.
2. Manual Reset - when control is configured as Manual Reset.
3. Configuration - easily select the desired configuration.
Condition Indicator - multifunction LEDs indicate when a unit is powered on at auto mode (green), manual mode (yellow), and when a low water condition is detected (red) for easy visual confirmation of system status.
Easy, Leak-Free Installation - the metal-to-metal seal provided by the brass threads ensures leak-free installations. Wrench flats and easy access wiring simplify installation for any hydronic system
