3/8" LL x 5/8" SL Mini Split Refrigerant Line Set w/ Flare Nuts, 1/2" Black Insulation (25 Ft.)

Ordered the 3/8" LL x 5/8" SL, 25 ft. line set with 1/2" black insulation and flare nuts. What arrived was a disaster on the connection end. Every single flare had to be remade from scratch. The factory flares were poorly formed — uneven, and the fittings weren't seated or tightened properly at all. I couldn't trust a single one of them, so I ended up cutting them off and re-flaring every connection myself with my own flaring tool. If you don't have flaring tools and the know-how to redo them, this line set will leak on you — guaranteed. A bad flare on a refrigerant line means a slow leak, a failed pressure test, and eventually a dead system down the road. For anyone expecting to just connect these and go, that's not happening with this product. The insulation and copper themselves seemed fine, but the flare work is where a line set has to be right, and this one wasn't even close. I basically paid for pre-flared connections and got nothing usable — had to do all the flaring work anyway. Disappointed. If you buy this, plan on re-flaring every connection yourself and pressure testing thoroughly with nitrogen before trusting it.
