Also known as the tubing hold-down stake or U support stake, the sod staple works much like a giant staple. Simply lay out tubing, straddle the staple over it, then tack it down by pushing the staple completely into the ground. The flat top sod staple is ideal for harder soil such as clay and can be hammered down; also available with the round top to insert by hand into softer soil. The sod staple can also be used to hold down chicken wire or tarp for garden projects. Made of galvanized steel and designed to withstand extreme climate conditions.
