Designed for installation on potable water lines to reduce high inlet pressure to a lower outlet pressure. The integral strainer makes this device most suitable for residential and commercial water systems that require frequent cleaning of sediment and debris. The direct acting integral by-pass design prevents buildup of excessive system pressure caused by thermal expansion. The balance piston design enables the regulator to react in a smooth and responsive manner to changes in system flow demand, while at the same time, providing protection from inlet pressure changes.

Water Pressure Reducing Valve
This product was purchased for a local community garden. City water pressure was as high as 70 p.s.i. That put a strain on our irrigation lines and left us constantly repairing leaks. This product work as advertised. No more leaks and that means no wasted water.

Great PRV!
I used the PRV to regulate the water pressure going to an ozone laundry system to keep the pressure at 30psi. This is necessary to keep the water pressure from leaking back through the check-ball on the Mazzei Injector and causing problems in the ozone generator and oxygen concentrator.

Q: I was looking to purchase an Apollo Valve that seems to be equivalent to the Zurn. The Zurn is $1,000 cheaper than the Apollo Valve. I have an Apollo Valve now, and have yet to encounter any issues. I will be using this valve for SALT WATER. Will this be an issue? Thanks!
