Moda Fire-Rated PEX Crimp (Brass) Washing Machine Outlet Box w/ Water Hammer Arrestor

Oatey MODA™ fire-rated washing machine outlet boxes shall be used in residential or commercial applications requiring supply valves and a waste drain recessed in the wall. The MODA™ fire-rated washing machine assembly contains a valve box and a drain box, with interlocking flanges on each side. Box shall be manufactured of PVC, allowing solvent welded joints to be prepared in accordance with ASTM D2855 for PVC drainage systems (without the use of specialty cements). The wing flanges in conjunction with the metal bracket allow for direct to stud installation. L-shape brackets are included for support based on wall rating (see instruction sheet). All double boxes can be interlocked for direct installation to steel and wood studs. They can also be installed independently on separate studs. Valves shall be a two-piece design, permitting field replacement, and shall be secured with a stainless steel retention clip. Valves are available with or without water hammer arrestors and shall be installed upright. The assembly shall include a removable quarter-turn knock out plug for DWV testing, and shall include an emergency drain port for added protection from valve leaks.
