The WhisperGreen Select fan operates quietly at an “always on” low speed to maintain fresh air and increases to a higher speed when activated by a switch or sensor; it automatically returns to low speed after a user-set time. The only residential vent fan series with a combination of certified CFM performance at 0.5 w.g. and low sone levels, the WhisperGreen's superior performance exceeds industry standards set by ASHRAE and ENERGY STAR. Flex-Z Fast Bracket simplifies installation with a single-hinge bracket for easy positioning so you don’t need to access your attic to install the fan and includes options for 4" or 6" ducting. Ideal for use in the bathroom, laundry room, sun room, basement or garage. Can accommodate up to 2 more add-on modules including WiFi, Smart Action Motion Sensor, and Condensation Sensor

The only fan line I'll ever buy
The WhisperGreen Select line actual adapts to the ducting / static pressure and delivers the full (or as close to full as possible) CFM to actually deliver proper ventilation. I've installed 5 units in this line recently (with Swidget WiFi modules) and while none or actually "whisper" quiet on boost mode they are all dead silent on standby/continuous mode. They hit a true / measured 30CFM on standby with absolutely no noise, which allows for incredible IAQ gains. On full-out boost these fans certainly can be heard but they are quieter than crappy fans and with a shower on full blast and as hot as possible there is zero steam build up!
I did install new ducting for all these fans but one, because the one would have involved cutting down ceilings in multiple rooms. Worse, the ducting appeared to be 4 inch but downsized to 3" for 20' of the run. But even with that the fan delivers full rated CFM, albeit with a bit more noise and power draw.
If you want to actual clear the air and get full rated CFM, you need this line.
