This WhisperGreen model features built-in intelligence called SmartFlow Optimum CFM Technology. This unique "electronic-brain" lets the fan do what was once thought to be impossible, perform at a constant CFM regardless of elbows and other factors that might hinder performance. Basically, when a WhisperGreen fan faces static pressure, its speed is automatically increased to ensure that the desired CFM is actually achieved. This allows the fan to perform as rated and makes for easier installation because the installer no longer has to worry as much about compromising the fan's performance.
Quiet Motor Means Quiet Operation
Panasonic is the first ventilation fan manufacturer to incorporate a DC motor in residential mechanical ventilation fans. The WhisperGreen series incorporates a totally enclosed DC motor designed for extremely quiet, energy-efficient operation. The permanently lubricated motor is also engineered for trouble-free, continuous run for several years.

Energy Star qualified products feature super-quiet operation and high CFM-to-Watt efficiency. The Energy Star program was created to help consumers identify products that can save them money and protect the environment by saving energy.

this fan works as advertised.
The fan is working great so far for last month or so. It is quiet and clears up the moisture quickly. The noise level is very low and you can hear it within the bath room (the perception depends on how noisy your old fan was :) )
Installation instruction are easy to follow and may require being a little bit creative when replacing an existing other model fan.

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffPower consumption as per the manufacturer: 11.1 watts at 0.1" static pressure and 21.5 at 0.25" static pressure.
