Panasonic 6 in Grille
Great product. A bit painful to install as the pipe is not round towards the grille, so additional sheetrock work was needed. Although it is pricey, it is high quality and quiet.

Panasonic WhisperLine installation kit
I'm not an HVAC professional but I'm very grateful for the pros who reviewed this kit and gave it high marks. Yes, $30 for a backdraft damper is a lot if you price the kit without one. This damper is mounted vertically so it takes advantage of gravity to close naturally, but it also uses a light spring to make sure it is totally closed when the fan isn't on. Well built and sturdy, I expect it to last a long time. I also used 3/4" plywood above the ceiling sheetrock with a hole precut to mount the grill to. It all worked seamlessly together with the fan and I'm very pleased with the appearance and function.

Great quality
No complaints. It seems pricey but there is a lot of attention to detail. Many criticize dampers that are not air tight but there always needs to be some play otherwise they will bind. The plastic feel very dense and of high quality.
