- Low floc point. Wax-free content minimizes the potential for wax separation in low temperature systems.
- Low pour point prevents oil from congealing in refrigeration lines.
- Freedom from moisture and other contaminants prevents premature compressor wear and plugging of system components and compressor oil ports. Viscosity is quality controlled to maintain high film strength when diluted with refrigerant. Guardian mineral oil remains fluid under extreme low temperature system operating conditions.
- High dielectric strength allows oil/refrigerant mixture to serve as an insulator between the motor windings and the body in the compressor.
- High chemical stability minimizes any reaction with refrigerants and other materials that are a part of the refrigeration compressor/system.
- Use with CFC, HCFC and HC refrigerants as well as nonfluorocarbon refrigerants including Ammonia.
