These may be the only receptacles still shipped in a box. It looks like most other manufacturers now ship their receptacles "naked". That means they arrive scratched up and damaged. In addition to the superior packaging this product has, It's also a very good receptacle. No need to wrap the wire around the screw. Stripped the wire, insert and then tighten with the screwdriver. Very nice.

First, this is a great receptacle with made in the USA quality. You do NOT have to bend wires around the screw. Instead, you just insert the wire and a clamping bar secures it. Very fast and easy and not stressful to the conductor. As best I can tell, all receptacle / switch manufacturers have stopped putting their products in boxes EXCEPT Pass & Seymour. The box not only protects the device from damaged during shipment, but it contains important information about what's inside. The box also allows for convenient storage if you'd like to keep a few spare parts on hand like I do. I've tried many brands, having the device shipped in a box is a huge plus for me, and the quality is excellent.

Really like the back wire feature. Feels durable. Replacing 70's receptacles with cracked and broken plastic. Functions as designed.

This outlet looks minimal but is a great unit. The socket tension is excellent being a commercial unit. I highly recommend these for lifetime service in your home.
