Control Board and Display Kit, 54712

The automatic air vent, installed directly above my Peerless PF-140, had a minor leak when under pressure. It spilled enough water onto the unit that it got past any protection the cover/seals provided. I removed it (it pops off) while it still worked, tried to dry it out, but it never worked again due to water damage to the Display board. Unfortunately, Peerless does not sell the Display Kit by itself. They claim this is due to software compatibility between the Control Board & Display Kit (it has to match). I had to buy this item and replace both the Control Board & Display Kit, even though the Control Board is completely fine. I ran the boiler without a Display Kit for at least two years before I finally bit the bullet and purchased this item. The item did not come with instructions, but installation was straight forward. The connectors are all different sizes, so it was easy to swap it out without worrying too much about getting the wrong one (though I did take a bunch of pictures). It'd be nice if Peerless sold a separate Display Kit for each Control Board version. No sense in having to replace something that isn't broken.
