This item is a MCX Fallout Filter Replacement manufactured by RGF.
Genuine RGF MCX fallout filter replacement for the MICROCON 600 system. In the presence of radioactive fallout, HEPA filtration removes hazardous airborne radioactive particles while the MC-X filter adsorbs radioactive gases. HEPA filters were developed and proven to be the most effective means for removing radioactive particles as part of the Manhattan Project in the 1940s and are still the primary filtration defense used in nuclear power plants.
