Transformer worked great in a rtu, would definitely buy agai
Replaced an old burnt up original transformer with this one because it had 480 volt line. The first one that came out had no secondary voltage out of it and they replaced it no problem!

Circuit breaker failed in my case
I replaced my transformer with this model to avoid burning up from too much current on the secondary side. The transformer worked for a few weeks but no outage from the AC either. I have not tracked down the intermittent short in the system, relay or thermostat wires. Nevertheless this little guy did not trip the breaker when the short hit me this week. I replaced the transformer and put a bus fuse in line. The short has hit me again but the new transformer survived the fuse did it's job. I do not recommend this transformer if you are using it for the built in circuit breaker.

Simple and solid I have a spare on hand now
I used this to replace my HVAC transformer that went out. The OEM replacement went out as well. So this one will trip if the current goes to high. It also helped to fix the problem in the first place, a dirty circuit board was shorting out.
