Good Experience
This kit arrived promptly and was easy to install. Two small problems; the plastic washer would not fit in my valve body so I used the old brass one and the diagram only showed 2 O rings my unit had 2 on the cartridge and one extra in the package with no indication where it went. I later guessed that it may have been meant to go above or below the screen but I still am not sure

Does not work in old DO5 valve
K05A1009 does not work in an old DO5 valve because the top rubber washer does not cover the entire top surface of valve, therefore valve leaks.

Replaced per instructions but valve leaks
I received the shipment in time. Installed per the instructions which were clear. After 2 days I noticed that the water was oozing out of the regulator valve.Will need to open again and try to re-seat. Hoping it will stop the leakage. Otherwise, will contact Supply House.

Came with instructions. Easy to install. Reasonably priced. I'm surprised these repair kits can still be found considering my regulator is probably 30 years old. I hope they keep making them.

Repair kit for water pressure regulator D05
Was hearing occasional faint noise in house. Turns out the water pressure in my house was 100psi instead of the set 60psi (I installed a pressure gauge on my main water line a few years ago). The pressure could not be adjusted. I installed the repair kit and set the pressure back to 60psi again. The noise in the house went away!
