Our Rheem A/C stopped cooling (air was coming out warm) so I checked the capacitor. It was bad. Found the exact replacement on SupplyHouse and placed the order. It arrived the next day and worked perfectly. Saved me a lot of money on a service call! I'm buying another as a spare.

Exact replacement for the out-of-spec cap in my Rheem unit
HVAC tech says the starting (motor) Capacitor needed replacement due to out of specification for capacitance reading. Wanted to charge an outrageous price for the "repair" job. I being an EE knew I could replace it on my own. I found the exact replacement here on Supplyhouse.com. Shut off the HVAC system by pulling the breaker, three screw removed and the access panel was off. I disconnected the two leads on the capacitor and installed on the new capacitor. Remounted the new one just as the old one was mounted. Closed the access panel and installed the breaker and the job was done. The capacitor cost was a fraction of the service cost quoted by the HVAC company. Glad I was able the exact replacement here on SupplyHouse.com
