Nat. Gas Combo Valve Replacement Kit, SP20161A

We at first had a problem, the model number we had was the same as the product we needed but it did not look the same. What we found out was the company adjusted the gas control valve and there was an adapter to the unit that we purchased. The company was so very helpful and stayed with us for the whole confusing ordeal. A second control valve was also sent to see if this one was different and we were not charged. Result, after all this time the gas control is heating our water and working great. Thank you Kevin for getting to the bottom of the mystery. We will come back again if ever needed. Respectable and responsible Company.

3rd gas valve I've had to replace since 2006;horrible quality on this part!!! I live in San Diego...so it's not like my water heater is cranked all the time. My townhouse was built with a power vent system so I'm stuck; $2k for a new heater. For the price of these gas valves alone I could have purchased 3 standard water heaters,I will never buy a "RHEEM" !!!

original order was labeled correctly, but contained the wrong part. It took a few days to get it straightened out. Kudos go to Nicole in their customer service. Installation was straight forward. Be sure to leak check the gas line with soap and water solution.
