Ultimate Tool: Commercial and Multi-Family Plumbing Repairs
The SF-2500 SuperFreeze Pipe Freezing Kit is an absolute lifesaver when shutting off the main water line to an entire building isn't an option. SupplyHouse delivered it next-day, and after setting it up on a 1" cold water pipe, a 30-minute freeze created a bulletproof ice plug that let me replace a failed gate valve without a drop of trouble. At nearly 69 pounds, dragging it through a tight crawlspace was definitely a workout, but the sturdy top and side handles on its steel toolbox housing made transport manageable while offering serious protection. It's an expensive investment, but the ability to perform surgical plumbing repairs without disrupting an entire apartment complex or commercial property makes it worth every single penny. The only improvement this unit needs is a more secure mounting design for the bottom rubber bumpers, which tend to fall off easily during transport.

Verified Reply- SupplyHouseNo, this tool is used to freeze a water plug inside copper, steel or other thermally conductive metallic tubes or pipes. Do not use on plastic pipe or tube.
