The Rinnai Exhaust Thermistor (105002024) is a genuine OEM replacement component for i-Series Plus combination boilers. Mounted in the flue path, this sensor measures exhaust gas temperature to help the control system monitor combustion efficiency and detect abnormal conditions such as blocked flues or combustion failures. Elevated exhaust temperatures can indicate scale buildup or combustion problems. Replace when error codes or performance issues suggest an exhaust temperature sensing fault.
