The Rinnai Electrode (805000174) is a genuine OEM ignition component for i-Series Plus combination boilers. The electrode generates a high-voltage spark across its gap to ignite the gas-air mixture at the burner on each startup cycle. Over time, electrode tips can erode or become contaminated with deposits, reducing spark reliability and causing ignition failures. Replacing with this OEM electrode restores consistent ignition performance.
