Gasket Controls E, 809000076

This purchase was exactly what I needed to replace old touch pad that had dried out and crumbled. I wonder if the new one will do the same thing as it ages. The part arrived in one day even though it was the basic shipping option. It was difficult to identify the correct part online before I ordered it and difficult to find a good picture of it. Also the part names and descriptions are minimal and not very helpful.

This is the gel that covers the push switches on my Rinnai combi boiler. This is 2nd replacement I've bought in the boilers 10 year life thus far. Unfortunately, the general warmth of the boiler dries out the gel, it cracks and disintegrates requiring a replacement. You'd think Rinnai find a better, long lasting material.
