Q: Can this heater be installed higher on the wall and controlled with a remote control or with a remotely installed thermostat?

Verified Reply- SupplyHouseThis appliance is not designed to be built into or mounted directly in a wall. It requires a 2" minimum clearance from the back of the unit.
