Thermocouple Test Adapter

For folks whose been fighting with frequent thermocouple failures, this adapter gets the testing job done. Highly recommended.

This thermocouple test adaptor is awesome--far superior to the one I'd been using. Good solid construction--threads in quickly & easily. Because of its design, no wrenches required--hand tight works fine. The city of Seattle (where I work) has plenty of old furnaces/water heaters that use thermocouples--so it gets plenty of use. Don't be that guy that doesn't test anything, but replaces the thermocouple and then the valve only to have me come out after them & find it was a combustion air issue, or some such, all along (just happened recently).

to the rest of you guys and girls (HVACR MECHANICS) if your using any other adaptor for your thermocouple and thermopile testing, BUY THESE. these are pro grade, don't need wrenches these will work with hand tightening, solid brass, replaceable contact point, they have decent terminals for your DC MILLIVOLT, AND DC MICROAMP METERS. and you will be able to read DC MICROAMPS for both the thermocouple and thermopile (you can find defective pilot magnets very easily) I work on way too many water heaters, these adaptors are priceless
