Q: Hi, will this work on the Robertshaw 9600 thermostat? Also, do i need to remove the existing thermostat to install the guard lock or can the guard lock just go right over the install thermostat? Thanks

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffWithout know which specific 9600 series thermostat it is hard to say. The guard dimensions are 8-1/4" L x 5" W x 3-1/2" D. This thermostat guard comes with both the solid and ring style base. The Ring base will mount over thermostat without having to remove the thermostat. No rewiring is necessary. The solid style would require rewiring and removal of the thermostat.
