Plastic reinforced fittings????

At the moment, I'm not so sure about these plastic reinforced fittings both sides leaking very small weep. Concerned about over tightening and creating more issues Chatted online that was about useless Contact manufacturer see if install error or defect. Daaaa tough to wrap with Teflon tape and screw in.

Diptube particulate

Customer has a Triangle Tube indirect hot water storage tank. Aerators and shower control valves were getting plugged. The diptube was suspected and indeed was completely free except for 4 inches at the top. The tube was of course replaced, but what to do about a free-floating degrading diptube short of the expense of changing out a perfectly good tank. This was the perfect product.

Electric tankless water heater post-filter....scale cure

I have 2 separate water systems in home, each equipped with a tankless electric water heater. Water supply is a private well. Water is low hardness, so we do not use a water softener...but....there is still enough mineral to be a headache for scale when the water crosses the electric heating elements. After a couple of years (new house), the scale flakes were clogging all the supply lines and cartridges at all the hot water outlets. I called Rusco HQ, got excellent guidance from customer service (who also noted that Supply House is an excellent customer of theirs and 2 big thuimbs up for retail), and pulled the trigger at Supply House for 2 filters. Both filters are 100 mesh. I methodically cleaned each clogged outlet, and 2 months later, can see small amounts of scale in the reservoir at bottom of Rusco filters and hot water is working great. Time will tell, but I feel like I made the right decision. Homeowner note: I found the largest amount of scale laying inside the lowest copper pipe that comes off the WH outlet. I cut a valve into that short section of pipe and will use it to periodically flush out the garbage that did not even make it up to the Rusco filter. Just sayin...

Leaks like a race horse

Tried everything - still leaked. In the end I through it in the truck and found a different method to accomplish what I needed without using this.
