Compact70 A2L Dehumidifier

This unit must have a design flaw. It only lasted a year before the refrigerant leaked out. The customer service was very good and replaced the unit. But this is in a crawl space that is difficult to access and install. I bought what I thought would be a more reputable, reliable, expensive American brand, specifically, to get something that lasts, longer than 6yrs and avoid the repeated high labor install.

Purchased this for my church's cafeteria, which is used for our school. The cafe is partially subterranean, so it gets humid, but not terrible. We mounted this high on the wall, ~6' off the floor, and piped it into a nearby sump pit. Seems to be working well thus far. Hopefully it lasts a lot longer than "consumer" units.

This dehumidifier just keeps pumping out water like its pulling it out of the air!

I bought this product and it only lasted 2.5 years before breaking. Do not recommend.

so far, i love this dehumidifier but right now, in Atlanta, we do not have a great deal of humidity, so i would like to update this in a couple of months. When it does run, it seems to bring the humidity to the proper percentage quickly so i hope it will continue that way so that it will be energy efficient. it is in my crawl space so noise is not a concern. however, it is super quiet. easy set up, sante fe tech support helped me understand exactly the best way to set up the drain, with a p-trap, as recommended. lastly, supply house was so easy to deal with on this purchase, shipped super-fast and as a pro, i got a discounted price. so i'm happy!
