Sioux Chief 657-FD piston-type closed-atmosphere vacuum
breaker arrester shall be required where the piping system is subject
to cavitation on the non-pressure side of a quick closing valve. Vacuum
breaker arrester shall be effective when installed at any angle, and with no
access panel required. Vacuum breaker arrester shall be sized and placed
per manufacturer's instructions.
Features:
- Prevents cavitation and accompanying water hammer shocks in high-flow fixtures, such as garden tub valves and multi-head shower valves.
- For use where the piping system is subject to cavitation on the non-pressure side of a quick-closing valve.
