Caused Major Flooding Damage
I used this with a SharkBite fitting and normal residential water pressure (67psi )the pressure blew it off. The exact same SharkBite fitting was then used on a different joint with no problem.
I had standing water on three levels of the house because of this.
Upon further testing I found that I could pull several SharkBite fittings off by hand. Each of these SharkBite fittings worked fine on other joints.
I had the same experience with three other Sioux Chief Omega Plate valves.
I called Sioux Chief and was told that I would be contacted later in the day, but it's been a couple of weeks since then.
SupplyHouse has been very helpful in this matter, but they're not the manufacturer, so there's a limit to what they can do.
