Look for something better
These valves are junk. I replace the insert at least once a year. The last one lasted six months and failed while we were on vacation. Luckily we had someone checking on the house for this reason. If you can install something else do it.

I would buy this product again.
Would be great if this valve assembly was available with threaded fittings instead of silver solder/welded fittings. Would make it a lot more versatile and easier to install with out worrying about messing up O-rings etc. Not everybody has access to a torch but could install fairly easily with wrenches if threaded fittings were used.

Seat Assembly only lasts about a year.
The brass base is fine but the seat assembly has jammed open on all 4 of my valves.
It took months to get the last two replacements.
