Taco's PC702 Two-Stage Reset Control is a microprocessor-based control designed to regulate the supply water temperature from a two-stage boiler system based on the outdoor temperature or domestic hot water requirements.
The PC702 offers all the feature of the PC700 and in addition includes an adjustable interstage relay setting, boiler staging using proportional, integral and derivative (PID) logic, optional boiler rotation and a domestic hot water demand output.

Replaced an old pump control panel and added this rest control to the new panel.

Somewhat hard to install, but works well
This device does exactly what it's supposed to do, and is pretty easy to configure and troubleshoot. My only complaint is that the wiring blocks for the low-voltage wiring (boiler switches, temperature sensors) are difficult to use, as they are on the edge of the device behind a cover. This requires bringing wires in from the back, then turning them 90 degrees to place them into the small holes which you can't see. If Taco redesigned this to use split terminal blocks, so you could remove the upper section to attach the wires and then plug it back into the board, it would be much easier to install.

Q: I have two-Five ton Geothermal Heat pumps piped in parallel via a common manifold, heating Radiant floors. Do you think the PC702 2-Stage Boiler Reset Control Connected to EXP Switching Relay could help regulate water temperatures from 2 GEO systems? Max water temp is around 125F. I only need to run both units about 10% of the time.
