Taco Venturi Fittings are designed to divert water flow from a given zone to the by-pass loop. The flow from the zone is partially diverted through the by-pass and then returned back into the zone. Often used in upfeed or downfeed applications, one typical application is to divert heated water through kickspace heaters, convectors, radiators or baseboards. <br><br>
Taco Venturi Fittings allow you to add radiation without putting in a separate dedicated zone, so you can eliminate the additional piping and fittings needed for a separate zone, saving time and money as a result.

Worked Perfectly
Installed in a basement slant fin radiator loop. Worked exactly as designed - radiators heat up very quickly, without the lag time you get with a series loop.

I installed one in each of a couple of branch lines to radiators and they work well. What I can't say is how it would have worked out if I did not use one of these special venturi tees.
