Sound Enclosure Kit, BAYSDEN004

Tried to install this cover on my high side of 2 compressor trane system. Nope it is not even close. Its in the b garbage can.

So this looks like a good insulator sound covet but have not installed yet, waiting for the weather to cool off. I'm sure it will do what I need for the Trane Compressor

We have a new home and the builder put both condenser coils outside of the master bedroom, needless to say, not good. I ordered one just to see if there was a drop in sound and I found at the most 2-3 decibels. They aren't very expensive so I installed the other one. They take the edge off but no more. Because of the cost and ease to install I would tell a friend to try it.

Easy to install. Use a small stool or bucket to stand on to get the reach to the bottom closure. Definitely reduced noise and improver overall sound quality quite a bit (that's technical for estimate 3-5db without a meter), will not eliminate noise but if you want quieter go 2 stage or variable compressor. To keep critters from making nests out of the cover; applied peppermint spray and powdered cayenne pepper to both sides of insulation within the tube and to the inside of the top cover. Did similar to pool noodle wrapped on lines at case wall to prevent critter entry and worked great over winter.

I was skeptical if this product was really going to work, but it has reduced the noise from my condenser at least 10 DBA. Great product.
