XL824 Thermostat, TCONT824AS52DC

The thermostat has lots of options for multi-stage heating and cooling, dehumidifying, humidifier, outdoor temp sensors, fan circulate, proximity sensor, screen saver, diag menu etc... With all that the unit does get a little warm and can be clunky, but the best part has been the app. Detailed event data record. Daily and monthly runtime history with a break down of what stage heating/cooling aux heat making it perfect for looking for issues. Automations are fully customizable automated commands. I made a custom automation to alert me if the temp reaches 77 for 30 mins and another to change the thermostats set point to 67-75 if the temp reaches 77 for 5 minutes. Great for letting me know if there is an issue without having to consistently monitor or if I forget to set the thermostat before I leave for work. I have two thermostats at two locations and both are controlled from the same account and app.
