Remote Indoor Temp Sensor, ZSENS930AW00MA

This was the solution to the unpredictable difference between the living room temp and bedroom temp. We have a wood stove so the thermostat in the living room hallway would get warm and shut down the HVAC leading to the bedroom getting too cold. Now I program it so the bedroom is monitored with the remote and it keeps that room at 68 deg F for sleeping. Sometimes the HVAC will run even when the Living room is 74 deg, but that's OK because it's taking that 74 deg air from the central return, heating it a bit more and sending it to the bedroom. Really happy with the solution.

I bought 3 of these, and they were easy to install and worked great. No more hot spots, the temperature is even. Just remember to assign the percentage gage on the thermostat settings.

Used with an 850 Trane thermostat. The 850 Thermostats read consistently about 5 degrees too hot. This sensor is the only thing that can solve that issue. It's a very accurate sensor. It's a shame Trane won't fix their expensive xl850 thermostats.
