I've had 3 Venstars, but this new one has messed up program
I like Venstar and I like Supplu House even more! My unit came quickly and I'm going to call their Support team today because my new Venstar T8850 has failed.
I've had two Venstar T5850's that lasted 15 years, a good run, I bought a new T9850 with the integrated WIFI and it works perfectly, but I got a bad one on this order, no fault of Supply House at all.

Flawless!
This thermostat (and the app) is the most intuitive, user-friendly, "works exactly as advertised" piece of technology that I have dealt with in a very long time! Instructions were clear and straightforward. I installed it in an Event Center that gets rented out for various occasions, so the HVAC settings need adjusted to fit the scheduled use. Now I can not only monitor but also control the systems from my phone or a computer. There is an added bonus of customizable alerts that can (among other things) let me know if a problem with the HVAC is detected. The sooner I know, the sooner I can repair. Wonderful product! And the Supply House team performed as expected - had the item the next day after ordering. You guys are great!

Best programmable thermostat
Venstar is so easy to set and install yourself. The big screen helps programming it a breeze. The app is awesome to be able to check, change or view what's going on in your house. Would recommend this product for anyone what wants easy set up and likes to be able to control with your phone.

WIFI is problematic
Have 16 of these installed in a commercial/Industrial setting. So far have had more than 4 failures of the WIFI connectivity in a 2 year period. Some units will no longer connect to the Skyport. Others will not connect to or see any WIFI networks at all.
Venstar support has not been able to resolve this problem for me despite a lot of time spent working with them on it.
Otherwise stats are good and the Skyport control center is nice. These stats have good features and are priced reasonably. However be aware that the WIFI connection can be a problem and there is no other reason to buy a WIFI capable thermostat.
