This 3/4 inch Gen II tankless water heater service valve with VersaFit™ technology is designed to simplify the installation and maintenance of tankless water heaters. It replaces up to 18 fittings and 16 connections used in typical tankless water heater installations. VersaFit technology provides versatility to easily configure the relief valve to the left or right side of the hot valve and keep the drain port facing forward for simpler installation and maintenance. This 3/4 inch tankless water heater valve set consist of hot and cold water heater valves made of lead free copper silicon alloy, 3/4 inch female NPT unions for connection to water heater, 3/4 inch press connections for plumbing lines and a 150 psi 3/4 inch pressure relief valve.

Plastic valve and not full port
These are the lowest quality isolation valves on the market. The "ball", which is normally a stainless sphere, is a plastic cylinder. When in the fully open position the plastic cylinder valve still obstructs about 10–15% of the port with sharp plastic edges to create friction and eventually wear away and potentially flow into your tankless. The bronze casting on the valve body is cheaply cast as well. Stay away and to Watts, do better. These should be pulled from the market imho. Also note that Watts makes these for Navien so buyer beware there too.

Installed these on two seperate units
Unfortunately 2/2 failed after two years. They would not allow for flushing and had to be replaced. Mind you the were almost never used in that 2 year period. I used stainless steal bal valves instead of these porcelain plastic cylinder valves. Never again.

Q: Do these valves use a fiber washer on the Union joint or NPT connection? If they do are they available as a separate part?

Verified Reply- Supplyhouse.com TeamHi Mac! All the o-rings/washers on this valve set will be Buna-N. Unfortunately, I'm not showing a fiber washer alternative.
