6" Pressure Reducing Valve Repair Kit (Overall Length 7-7/8")

The part was delivered very quickly.

The part was exactly what I needed to repair a broken frost proof spigot. I am giving 2 stars for poor customer service. Woodford spigots are rated for the distance to the frost proof seal from the outside wall which does not correlate to the length of the valve stem. I was not sure if I have a 6" or 8" spigot and asked for customer service to measure the new part to verify I was ordering the correct size. I was told the part was in "original factory packaging" which unfortunately could not be opened to measure the part. I ordered the 6" because I was about 90% sure it was the right one. When it arrived, it was packaged in a clear plastic bag and could have easily been measured without opening the package. It's clear I was sent a canned answer and the customer service agent didn't look at the part or how it was packaged before telling me it wasn't possible to measure it.

The only problem was getting the correct size. I got one to short the first time. A comment defining where to measure the valve would have been very useful.
