3/4" Lead Free Pressure Reducing Valve, FNPT Union x FNPT, Sealed Cage, SS Adj Screw, 15-150psi

We are using this PRV to allow our faucets (sillcocks) to have a higher pressure than our filtered in-house water. It is perfect for allowing our sillcocks to have just more than the max 75 PSI that the in-house PRV allows. We plan to set this one at 80 PSI...its max is 150 PSI...obviously, 150 is more than most hoses can handle. But we needed more pressure for lawning watering when we converted to the sillcocks being "before" the filter. Utility pressure is 125 PSI so not having a separate PRV was not an option, but the usual 75 PSI max was not ideal either. This one is perfect.

We presently have a regular PSI version of this Zurn valve and it works great. We called Zurn to ask about a high-pressure version for our sillcocks (lawn watering, etc.). The CSR was very knowledgable, precise, clear and had a clear understanding of our requirements. She was excellent.

Had to replace my old valve. Supply house had a great description allowing me to purchase the correct valve with confidence.

I used the cartridge,spring & bell housing from the new valve in the old body. Replacing the old body would have required cutting the pipes and soldering a new connecter. I measured both cartridges and bodies and found they were the same. I assume the only difference was that the old body contained lead in it.
