Designed for measuring water system pressure within a building. The 3/4" hose adapter allows for direct connection to a hose bibb or water heater drain valve. The indicator needle identifies the highest pressure reached within the system. Ideal for registering maximum system pressure caused by thermal expansion or pressure spikes. The maximum pressure indicator needle can be reset by turning the external knob counter clockwise. For water service only.

Good gauge
It would be 5-stars but the red "max" needle moves way too easily and will bounce to a higher reading, sometimes 20-30psi off. Really should get a liquid filled gauge.
