SupplyHouse.com, a fast-growing and successful e-commerce company, is looking for a new Category Manager to join our Merchandising Team and oversee our Heating category. This position will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the designated category strategies. 

This is a remote-based role within select states in the United States. At this time, we are only able to employ those located in the following states: Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin

This position will require travel to our NY office headquarters up to three times per year for internal meetings and team-building activities. The cost of travel for employees out of the area will be covered by the company. Additionally, our offices are always available for staff to use as much as desired.

A company laptop and other necessary equipment will be provided along with a $250 stipend for your work from home space.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in Merchandising and product development (technical ability in the Heating industry is preferred)
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel and retail systems  
  • Experience in leading remote team members
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills
  • Critical and creative thinking skills working in an everchanging environment
  • Statistical analysis and data manipulation skills
  • Proven ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while remaining flexible in a high growth environment

This individual will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing competitive compensation while actively contributing to our Talent Management initiatives.

  • Secure buy-in from executive team: Collaborate with executive leadership to gain support for new initiatives and evolve our short-term incentive plans.
  • Conduct compensation market research: Analyze trends, industry best practices, and company positions to ensure competitive compensation structures and create job descriptions.
  • Identify and configure HCM architecture: Assist in establishing an HCM compensation architecture to support managers and employees in merit and incentive planning.
  • Ensure compliance with wage laws: Apply knowledge of DOL, FLSA, state, and federal laws to classify jobs and implement new legal requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Contribute guidance to the Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Management teams surrounding compensation, performance management, talent development, and organizational design.

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or another related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years of experience in a compensation-focused role (experience designing and implementing compensation programs is a plus)
  • Strong project management and process design experience
  • Expertise in compensation module of one or more HCM, with hands-on experience in configuring and administering base and incentive compensation plans
  • Experience in implementing pay bands/ranges and developing job leveling guides is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of compensation practices and market trends, experience with one or more compensation benchmarking platform(s)
  • Proficiency in MS Suite, especially MS Excel
  • Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and systems
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
  • Experience in talent management, performance management, or related Human Resource functions (is a plus)

Inbound and Inventory Control Manager (Cranbury)

Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all processes and procedures for Inbound operations including Receiving, Inventory Control, and Logistics
