Accounts Payable Associate (Remote)

Full-time position

SupplyHouse.com (through an Employer of Record), an innovative leader e-commerce, as an Accounts Payable Associate and play a critical role in managing vendor payments, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring accurate financial records. This individual will review invoices, process payments, reconcile accounts, and maintain strong vendor relationships while leveraging NetSuite and financial systems to uphold data accuracy. If you have a strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills, with an interest in growing your experience in Accounting, we’d love to hear from you!

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Location: Remote (Must be located in the Philippines and able to verify right to work within the country)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time (ET)

Salary: $8,000 - $9,000 USD per year

Responsibilities: 

  • Invoice Review & Payment Processing: Accurately verify and approve invoices before payment, ensuring correct pricing and adherence to company policies.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies between invoices, purchase orders (POs), and item receipts.
  • Vendor Payment Management: Prepare and process payments on time, ensuring vendors receive accurate amounts while maximizing early payment discounts.
  • Credit & Account Reconciliation: Track and apply vendor credits for open balances, returns, rebalances, and warranties, ensuring all accounts remain up to date.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to facilitate smooth and efficient financial transactions.
  • Statement & Account Audits: Conduct monthly reviews of vendor statements to identify and resolve outstanding balances or discrepancies.
  • Data Entry & System Management: Input and maintain accurate financial records using NetSuite, ensuring data integrity and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Internal & External Communication: Respond to vendor and co-worker inquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing clarity and solutions as needed.

  Requirements: 

  • Education: High school diploma required (Accounting or Business-related degree preferred).
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a role involving similar financial operations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data entry and financial systems (experience with NetSuite is a plus!).
  • Attention to Detail: Strong ability to identify discrepancies, verify information, and ensure financial accuracy.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of proficiency in English to interact effectively with vendors and internal teams.

Business Development Lead (Remote)

SupplyHouse.com, an innovative and industry-leading e-commerce company, is looking for a new Business Development Lead! This individual will be responsible for driving Business-to-Business growth initiatives such as building strategic relationships with government agencies, universities, Trades services platforms, and Trades enterprises (Plumbing, Heating, HVAC, Electrical) across the U.S. This leadership role will serve as the face of an organization and focus on expanding our customer base, maximizing revenue, and establishing SupplyHouse.com as a trusted partner for public institutions.    

This is a remote-based role within select states in the United States. At this time, we are only able to employ those located in the following states: Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Washington. 

This position will require travel up to 60% of the year, including to our NY office headquarters six times per year for internal meetings and team-building activities. The cost of travel for employees out of the area will be covered by the company. Additionally, our offices are always available for staff to use as much as desired. 

Role Type: Full-Time, Exempt

    • Act as a trusted advisor with customers to emphasize the benefits and features of our products and services, becoming a source of insight on tools and features to build into our tech roadmap 
  • Collaboration and Reporting  
    • Gather relevant information and collaborate with internal teams to compile and submit comprehensive reports to management 
    • Create, update, and manage sales reports and prospective client lists to ensure accurate and up-to-date records 
    • Maintain strong cross-functional partnerships with Customer Experience, IT, Product Management, Customer Service, Merchandising, and Operations 
  • Negotiation and Bid Management  
    • Oversee the bid process for SupplyHouse.com while ensuring compliance with contracts in the education and government sectors 
    • Optimize bidding strategies and build partnerships to acquire the business of new customers 
    • Represent the organization in high-level negotiations with key clients and government entities, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes  

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field 
  • 8+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Account Management, or other related fields 
  • 5+ years of demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams 
  • 5+ years of experience working with academic institutions and/or government agencies 
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and develop strong relationships 
  • Strong critical and creative thinking skills to solve complex problems, enhanced by proficiency in spreadsheet-driven analysis and data manipulation

This individual will oversee our comprehensive credit process from assessing customer creditworthiness and enforcing policy consistency to leading strategic credit initiatives. They will also manage the accounts receivable function, ensuring timely collections and precise financial reporting. Customer Service Phones Associate (Remote)

We’re seeking new associates to join our Customer Service Phones Team! This individual will be responsible for interacting with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests relating to SupplyHouse’s products and services. The ideal candidate will be excited to speak to our customers every day! (Prior Customer Service experience and product knowledge is not required)

Role Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Location: Remote (Arizona, Nevada, and Washington)

Schedule Options: 3-4 weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PST and Saturday's and/or Sunday's from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. PST, which will remain consistent for the foreseeable future

Salary: $21.63/hour

This individual will be responsible for driving Business-to-Business growth initiatives such as building strategic relationships with government agencies, universities, Trades services platforms, and Trades enterprises (Plumbing, Heating, HVAC, Electrical) across the U.S. This leadership role will serve as the face of an organization and focus on expanding our customer base, maximizing revenue, and establishing SupplyHouse.com as a trusted partner for public institutions.
