This coating not only makes it tougher for biofilm to form but also stabilizes chlorine reactions. Plus, it offers extensive filtration capacity, handling up to 250,000 gallons of water.
- Easy DIY Installation: Our whole house water filter, the WGB22B-DS, is designed for hassle-free DIY installation. Consult the manual and our helpful YouTube videos for guidance. With 1-inch NPT inlet/outlet connections and 20-inch by 4.5-inch water filter cartridges, it minimally affects water flow (up to 15 GPM) and requires little maintenance.
- High-Quality Filtration: This top-tier system not only combats scale but also removes chlorine, herbicides, industrial solvents, and more. Its first-stage carbon block filter employs premium coconut shell carbon for maximum filtration efficiency and longevity. It's independently tested to meet NSF/ANSI standards and can filter 100,000 gallons of water, ample for a family of four for a full year.
- Important Notes: Please be aware that this whole house water filter is installed at your main water supply line, treating all water entering your home. Unlike RO systems, it won't reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), preserving beneficial minerals. If TDS reduction is your goal, consider our iSpring Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems. Also, note that the polyphosphate filter prevents scale formation but doesn't remove calcium and magnesium from water; it merely stops these molecules from forming scale.
