50 Micron Reusable Spin-Down Sediment Water Filter w/ Scraper, 1" MNPT, 3/4" FNPT (20 GPM)

I've been going wild lately with our well water system, upgrading and enhancing just about everything. Once the copper came out, it opened a whole new world of possibilities. To support the long-term operation of our recently installed DAB Mini 3 pressure booster, AI recommended adding a 50 micron spin-down filter before it as particles passing in to it could cause failure over time. As I reviewed many filters, this iSpring model stood out for numerous reasons, but the most important was that it could be mounted in any direction with the rotating head. This was exactly what I needed, and the only one I have seen which provides for it. I needed a vertical mount with flow going from the bottom up. This iSpring allows it. Just as importantly, based on what I had in place, this was a very easy drop-in install - disconnecting a SharkBite flex hose, putting the filter in, and reconnecting the flex hose. Total install time with prep was about 30 minutes. This included some time to rework what I originally intended on the top fitting. It all worked out great, fits the tight positioning perfectly, and will keep the Mini 3 safe.
