Good value, prompt shipment

I was looking for an 80 gallon unit that would fit in the space occupied by my old 50 gallon unit. Most were too wide. However, this unit fit the bill, being only a few inches wider. I've always known about AO Smith as being a quality hot water heater and look for many years of use out of this new unit. The ability to purchase the unit online at a reasonable price with free shipping also was a plus.

Great Product

Easy installation, easy access to temperature controls and overall great water heater. I am not a fan of electric water heaters but this has proven to be a very good investment. I would recommend to others, without a doubt. Best of all, supplyhouse.com made the purchase, shipping and overall experience, well worth it. Besides some small cosmetic dents caused by the shipping company(s), the product was perfect. Very well packaged and very quick shipping. I highly recommend supplyhouse.com.!

Water with a rotten egg smell can come from any tank-style water heater if conditions are right. Please see the blog post at the link below for more information on this issue. http://pexsupply.blogspot.com/2011/11/rotten-egg-smell-in-hot-water.html

We advise that you have a licensed technician look at the unit. The good news, since it's only two years old, is that the unit is likely still under warranty.
