These are good valves ... They are metal and plastic (but today what isn't plastic) ... SupplyHouse has great price and even better when you buy 10 pack ... If you do enough plumbing a 10 pack is easy to go through

These stop valves are described as 1/2" PEX, but does not specify whether it's for PEX with expansion collars, or some other method, such as SharkBite. The male end for PEX piping does not have the raised ridges that allow expansion collars to make a watertight seal between the PEX and the stop valve.

Stop valve description should specify PEX fitting type.
These stop valves are described as 1/2" PEX, but does not specify whether it's for PEX with expansion collars, or some other method, such as SharkBite. The male end for PEX piping does not have the raised ridges that allow expansion collars to make a watertight seal between the PEX and the stop valve.
