Q: Is the inside diameter of the FTG end equivilant to that of standard 1/2" pipe or is it narrower due to thicker sidewalls? If it is narrower what is the diameter?

Q: Is a Street Adapter the same as a Fitting Adapter? In other words, the copper sweat side will fit into copper fittings where copper pipe would attach.

The 'street' in street adapter means that it is the same dimensions as regular copper pipe on the sweat side. It would go into a coupling.
