21 st century Floatless sensor makes it much more reliable .
Loaded with features which make it a no brainer great value compared to other brands that include cheaply made float micro-switches that do not last. Clearvue should do more head to head adverising against one of the main competitors, Little Giant. Clearvue cost $20 more. Little Giant doesn't have any of the new self cleaning, overflow prevention features. Others are low quality with a 90 day vendor return policy then you deal with one year return it to the factory to see if they will refund or replace warranty. Attached: picture of Little giant switch that breaks. Whole new Little Giant pump unit $45. replacement switch $32. No thanks

Not a lot of options anyway.
I need a pump that can handle the hot water in the winter from my steam humidifier. By the time it hits the tank, the water temp is under 140 degrees (the max temperature according to the instructions. However, my first pump failed in about 3.5 years. First, the tank cracked (gotta love gorilla tape), then the sensors went all wacked out and kept throwing an alarm to my thermostat which in turn shut down the stack. Once I figured this out, I was able to locate a replacement here. It was cheap and SupplyHouse shipped my new pump quickly. When this one fails again, I'll be purchasing from here.
