Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffUnfortunately no, this pump does not have any dry run protection. If the pump is used without water or a liquid running through the pump it can make the unit cease to function properly.
Q: Hi, Is this a direct replacement.... Flange size shut-off valves etc. for the Grundfos UPS15-58FC? Thanks

it is just painted.
It is a stainless body pump. Below the picture is a statement that the picture is for a different Grundfoss pump. NOTE: Image depicts ALPHA-15-55F/LC model
The ALPHA 15-55SF is a stainless steel pump, regardless of the photo which might be generic.
Q: What is the flange size for this pump?

Flange size is standard GF15/26 size like a Taco 007. 3-1/8" c-c.
