If valve seems open, but no heat, open the cover and manually push the internal lever. If it turns on furnace, the problem may be debris in the valve or resistance of the mechanism. Remove entire electric assembly (easy) and rotate pin repeatedly to free up.

                                                                        Hi,
Yes there is a replacement head for use with the old style valve body; this is aV8043E valve.
I would suggest that you use a powerhead conversion kit for the V8043E valve and convert the old style body to the new style. It then becomes much simpler to replace the powerhead. The valve mechanism is connected to the old style powerhead and you will have water all over the place when you replace the powerhead.
The conversion kit seperates the valve from the powerhead and once you have installed the conversion kit you only have to remove two screws to replace the powerhead and you won't get wet. I have installed conversion kits in all my old valves.
