Q: Can I lock the screen with a password so that nobody can change the temperature without knowing the password?

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffThis thermostat does have a screen lock function, however it does not have password protection, unfortunately. Information on the screen lock can be found on page 29 of the user guide found here on our site : http://s3.pexsupply.com/manuals/1271961932045/29356_PROD_FILE.pdf
You do not set a password. You lock/unlock the screen via a hidden key combination to get to the settings menu, then understanding what setting number is the lock settings. Its all described in the manual.
Q: Does this work with heat pump only ???

It should work with a heat pump or conventional heat. It may be a problem if used with a heat pump and furnace together if the furnace and or heat pump is dual stage because it only has 2 heat stages.

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffThis thermostat does not have a light bulb. In reference to the display, if thermostat is battery powered, make sure fresh AAA alkaline batteries are correctly installed (see page 22 of the operating manual). If thermostat is AC powered, a dim display is normal. The backlight remains on at a low level, and brightens when a key is pressed.
Q: can it be used for geothermal (water furnace)\ and does it click when goes on and off?

Verified Reply- HoneywellThis thermostat is compatible with geothermal units and will also click on and off on calls for heating, cooling and fan operation. All Honeywell thermostats have this small click as the contacts on the terminals are closing.
Q: Can the selectable IAQ terminals/contacts be used to control a powered humidifier? Thank you.
