start relay
i started to use these on problem jobs [some 5 ton copeland piston compressors] where potential relays were not holding up. the contact rating is twice that of a standard name brand or OEM potential relay. i like the alternate wiring set-up to reduce arc. the start up is real nice. it seems that the newer potential relays are not what they were some years ago.

used it to fix my Hallowell Acadia
I have a Hallowell Acadia cold-weather heat pump. These have a known issue with the starting circuit that causes the units to die. Fortunately, the [@] folks figured out how to use the UMSR-50 to fix the starting circuit deficiencies and keep it running. Thanks to the cleverness of the UMSR-50's patented starting circuit, I was able to significantly reduce startup stress and save my Acadia!
